Personal Note: I would not trade my family's experience with YAC Swimming.
It has been a wonderful resource for our community. I plan to keep my
relationship with YAC Swimming and the community of swimming in our area
(and state) as long as I can.
What my kids say about YAC: My kids have enjoyed their years swimming with
YAC (all 3 swam). They have enjoyed the friends they have made, and felt
that they were provided with excellent training that allowed them to pursue
their goals.
What YAC Swimming has done for my children: YAC Swimming has created strong
swimmers with the background to compete at the level they choose and to set
their goals. Jessica and Sean continue their swimming career in college. All
three of my kids have worked as lifeguards with the skills they initially
developed at YAC Swimming. They learned to set goals for themselves and the
importance of physical activity in their lives. They also learned the
science of swimming and training from their coaches at YAC Swimming.
Why I like to serve YAC Swimming: YAC swimming is a wonderful organization.
My family and I have cherished the friends we have made. Swimming has given
our family a common bond. Swimming requires volunteers to make it work and
this is a great use of my time. I have developed friendships in the swimming
community that extend beyond our club as well.

Personal Note: Swimming is my passion! I've been a competitive swimmer for
about 33 years-including age group, high school, college, and masters teams.
I coached the Yakima masters team for 1year and taught swim lesson for all
ages for 4years.

days in the

What YAC Swimming has done for my children: YAC Swimming has given my kids
confidence in themselves, made them better and stronger swimmers, improved
their technique, and provided
a positive outlet for their energy.
Why I like to serve YAC Swimming: YAC Swimming is a great program for the
kids and their families and I want to see it continue to succeed. I see the
program getting better and better with each passing year and I'm proud to be
a part of the effort.
